Where are they now? – Assessing students’ needs and lacks
We assess students at different times for different reasons. But after a period of disruptions to our regular classes, it is more important than ever that we have a clearer idea of the gaps in their knowledge and what each student might be lacking in order to more effectively support them and enable them to get the most out of their classes. What are some of the different ways we can assess their current language ability and how can we find out about their needs so that we can better engage and motivate them?
